Standard coils produce less vapour, have higher resistance, use less vape liquid and are suitable for most e cigs. These are often the starting point for vapers as they offer an experience that’s more similar to a cigarette. Sub-ohm coils produce more vapour and use more e liquid (and battery power, due to the lower electrical resistance). These can only be used in certain e cigs and are more suited to experienced vapers.
